The Volunteer Information Session is required for all individuals who desire to serve as a volunteer with Present Age Ministries. During this session, participants will be educated on the realities of Human Trafficking both nationally and locally. Participants will also be given information about Present Age Ministries programs and opportunities for volunteers to be involved.
During this training, participants will gain a much deeper understanding of the life that survivors have lived, the trauma they deal with, the work Present Age Ministries does to support these girls, and how volunteers can potentially be involved in different areas of our Direct Services Program. These areas include becoming a mentor, helping with transportation, tutoring, assisting with group sessions, and more. Survivor Support Volunteer Training is required for those who desire to be considered for a role that is in direct contact with the clients we serve. There is a one-time fee for this training that covers a background screening, training materials, and lunch.
